Carol Hautot – Creative Director and Producer
Since 2006, Carol Hautot has worked throughout Australia as an ActionCOACH Business Coach, offering training and coaching to small business owners and their teams in the areas of leadership, team building, sales, marketing, finance, goal setting and planning.
Her previous experience includes roles as a Training and Development Consultant to the Western Australian Government, Workplace Trainer and Quality Manager for the IOGT, and roles in Hospitality Management and Training at leading hotel chains throughout Australia. Carol has a Masters Degree in Professional Education and Training, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma in Hotel Management and has attended advanced courses with Landmark Education and Access Consciousness.
Peta Cook – Director and Actor
Peta Cook is a graduate of London Drama School, Rose Burford College.
Having performed in a myriad of successful plays throughout her career, Peta recently returned to training at Australia’s prestigious National College of Dramatic Art (NIDA), where she completed the Director’s Open Program going on to win an award for best play at the renown Short+Sweet Play Festival in Sydney.
Shawn Brack – Actor
Shawn Brack has performed in numerous amateur theaters; his credits include Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers, Ganesha in A Perfect Ganesh, Glenn Sprague in The Boys and Micky in Blood Brothers.
He has won Cairns’ Mary Webb Award for Acting Excellence twice, appeared in numerous locally produced television commercials, worked on the Nine Network’s Sea Patrol and the epic Tom Hanks & Steven Spielberg produced television miniseries, The Pacific.
Shawn moonlights as a casual teacher by the day, and by night is often seen at Corporate Events dressed as Jack Sparrow, a snail, Riff Raff, a toy soldier, Austin Powers or one of many other characters. He has most recently been involved in the Sapphire Pictures horror/ action/ adventure film, Throwback premiering Internationally later this year.
David Terry – Actor
David Terry is a professional actor trained at Australia’s acclaimed National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), whose skills include Musical Theatre, Presenting, Stunt Performance and Vocals.
Recently seen in Cairns as ‘Nick’ in Soph and the Real World, David’s credits also include ‘Hoops’ in Project Top Clown, ‘Barry McCann’ in Tough Nuts: Australia’s Hardest Criminals, ‘Tom’ in Dinner With Friends and television appearances in Europe, Water Rats and Roar.
Rachel Terry – Actor
Rachel is an accomplished actor with qualifications in ballet, modern dance and tap.
Also a graduate of Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), her recent credits include theatre roles in Soph and the Real World and The Impossible Dream, Dinner with Friends, A Foetal Moment, The Breast Project, Europe and After Dinner.
Rachel has also played in roles for television favourites All Saints, Home and Away, Heartbreak High.
Tony Robertson – Playwrite
Tony began his theatre career as an actor with Los Angeles-based, Repertory Theater Company.
Touring the world for the next decade, Tony returned to settle in Australia where he turned his hand to writing. His first play, Intimacy, was produced by Cairns Theatre Company, JUTE and was well received with excellent reviews and audience response.
His second play, Sentinel Chickens was produced by JUTE in May 2014.
